Cancellation and Change Policy
To confirm any reservation, a minimum payment of 50% of the total amount is required. This payment is considered a deposit.
In the event of cancellation by the guest, no refunds will be issued.
However, the possibility of changing the reservation dates may be evaluated, subject to availability.
Special Exception – Reservation Reassignment
As an exceptional measure, if a different new client makes a confirmed reservation for the same dates, either in the same property or in another available property, and this new booking allows us to cover the originally blocked dates, up to 50% of the deposit paid may be refunded.
This refund will apply only if the new reservation is fully confirmed and payment has been received from the new client.
If no new reservation is secured for those dates, no refund will be issued.

General Rental Conditions
These terms govern the rental of our properties and constitute a legally binding agreement between the guest and Classy Cartagena, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Colombia.
The reservation guarantees the exclusive availability of the selected property for the confirmed dates.
Maximum Occupancy
The guest agrees to strictly comply with the maximum occupancy limit established for each property.
Additional visitors, parties, events, or gatherings are not allowed without prior authorization.
Property Condition and Use
Our properties are delivered in functional condition (“as is”).
We make our best efforts to ensure the proper operation of services and amenities such as internet, television, swimming pools, or others; however, this does not constitute a guarantee.
The guest agrees to:
- Use the property exclusively for residential purposes.
- Take proper care of the property, furniture, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the stay.
- Avoid excessive noise or behavior that may disturb others.
- Refrain from illegal, offensive, or unlawful activities.
The use of pools, jacuzzis, terraces, or similar amenities is entirely at the guest’s own risk, especially when minors are present.
Security Deposit for Damages
At check-in, a refundable security deposit may be required. The amount will be communicated in advance.
The deposit will be refunded once the stay has ended, provided the property is returned in the same condition as received, minus any damages or losses identified.
The estimated refund period is 48 to 72 hours after check-out.
Noise and Community Policy
Guests must respect community rules and maintain reasonable noise levels at all times.
Repeated complaints due to excessive noise may result in the immediate termination of the stay, without any right to a refund.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the bedrooms of the property.
Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning charges.
Keys and Access
Guests are responsible for the proper use of keys, access cards, or remote controls provided.
Lost or damaged access items may result in additional charges.
Duplicating keys or sharing access with unregistered individuals is strictly prohibited.
Services and Technical Issues
Services such as internet, television, water, electricity, or others may be affected by external factors beyond our control.
Temporary service interruptions do not qualify for refunds or compensation.
Guest Identification
All guests must present a valid government-issued ID.
Required information must be provided before or during check-in as part of security and registration procedures.
Breach of Terms
Failure to comply with any of these policies may result in the immediate termination of the stay, without refund, and with the obligation to vacate the property immediately.
Liability and Risk
Classy Cartagena is not responsible for:
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
- Accidents, injuries, or damages occurring inside or around the property.
Guests assume all risks associated with their stay and release Classy Cartagena from any liability.
Force Majeure
No refunds will be issued for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Extreme weather conditions
- Government orders
- Civil unrest or similar situations
Right of Entry
We reserve the right to enter the property, with reasonable prior notice, for inspection, maintenance, or verification of compliance with these policies.
In emergency situations, entry may occur without prior notice.
Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: 12:00 p.m.
Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
High Season Dates
The following periods are considered High Season, and special rates and conditions may apply:
- December 15 to January 20
- Holy Week
- June 15 to July 30
- First week of October
Final Provisions
These policies constitute the complete agreement between the guest and Classy Cartagena.
Any modifications must be made in writing through our official communication channels.
